I’m taking the 1 Million Pledge!

 Every six seconds, a newborn is lost to preventable causes, and every two minutes, a mother dies from pregnancy or childbirth complications. Most of these deaths can be prevented with basic medical care, nutrition and safe birth support.

This is why I’m taking the 1 Million Pledge.

I’m proud to share that my close friend, Gary Ablett Jr., is launching an inspiring new initiative on Monday, and I wanted to support the incredible work he and his team are doing.

As a parent, I know how important it is for families to have access to life’s essentials. Yet many mums and babies in our communities are facing challenges without reliable access to nutritious food, healthcare, safe housing, and vital support services.

This initiative aims to provide practical help and hope to families when they need it most, creating a meaningful and lasting impact.

A good mate of mine, Gary Ablett Jr., is launching an incredible initiative on Monday called the 1 Million Pledge, and I wanted to get behind it.

The 1 Million Pledge is part of The Active Faith Foundation, supporting life-changing programs for mums, babies and children in need.

Every year, five million babies won’t make it to their first birthday — that’s one newborn every six seconds from preventable causes such as malnutrition, lack of medical care and unsafe living conditions.

As a parent, I can’t imagine facing those challenges.

Through a partnership with Compassion Australia, funds raised go directly towards critical survival programs that provide mums and babies with the care and support they need.

If you’re in a position to help, I’d be incredibly grateful. Whether it’s $10, $20, $50 or more, every contribution makes a genuine difference.
