Every day, 830 women die from pregnancy and childbirth complications - 99% of them in developing countries.
For every mother lost, 20 more suffer serious complications, infections or lifelong disabilities.
Every year, 4.5 million babies won’t make it to their first birthday.
For babies born into poverty, the risk of death is doubled.
These aren’t just numbers. They’re mothers without safe deliveries, never getting the chance to hold their babies. They’re newborns who won’t take their first steps, losing their chance at life before it even begins. The odds are against them.

Trained health workers visit new mothers at home to provide check-ups, vaccinations, nutrition support and hygiene education to prevent illness.
Training & Development
Parenting and newborn care classes help mums feel confident, track development and address health concerns, while skills and economic training empower them to build a secure future.
Start-of-Life Essentials
A newborn’s first days are critical, yet many mothers lack basic supplies. Care packages provide essentials like nappies, blankets, soap and lotion.
Advocacy for Mums
Advocacy programs ensure mothers in poverty can access doctors, midwives, safe delivery support and essential maternal healthcare.
