A million-strong movement with one mission: Helping mums and babies survive and thrive

The 1 Million Pledge is part of The Active Faith Foundation, a registered charity committed to funding life-changing programs for mums, babies and children in need.

Every year, five million babies won’t make it to their first birthday. That’s one newborn lost every six seconds to preventable causes, including malnutrition, lack of medical care and unsafe living conditions.

We couldn’t hear numbers like that and do nothing. So we started the 1 Million Pledge. Our goal? Find 1 million people willing to raise $100 each to fund critical survival programs that give mums and their babies the care and support they need.

To ensure funds raised reach those who need it most, we've partnered with Compassion Australia directing resources straight to frontline programs delivering life-saving support.

Where Your Donations Go

Here’s how it works: 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to aid programs.

The other 10%? That keeps the lights on. Running a global movement isn’t free - there are costs like governance, compliance and ensuring we can get funds to the people who need them. Once expenses are covered, any surplus goes right back into our mission.

Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.

For 19 years, Gary was known as one of the greatest ever to play AFL. But after dedicating his life to football, he’s now focused on something bigger—helping children survive and thrive. As a father, he knows firsthand how critical those early years are. With The 1 Million Pledge, he’s using his platform to drive real impact for the world’s most vulnerable mums and babies.

Jordan has always been passionate about supporting children and families, from working with troubled youth to helping children with autism. But becoming a mother to Levi, Grace, and Ezra gave her a deeper understanding of the challenges parents face and a stronger drive to help those without access to essential care.

She knows how life-changing the right support can be. Through The 1 Million Pledge, she’s committed to ensuring mums and babies everywhere get the care they need to survive and thrive.

Sean has spent his career building brands, leading PR campaigns and bringing bold initiatives to life. But his true passion lies in using those skills to create real impact. As a founding director of The Active Faith Foundation and The 1 Million Pledge, he’s using his expertise to turn big ideas into tangible impact —helping to build a movement that gives mums and babies the support they need when they need it most.

With a background in commerce and finance, Jaz knows how to make every dollar count. As a business partner, charity director and financial consultant, he’s been instrumental in structuring The 1 Million Pledge to ensure funds are used effectively and transparently. Driven by purpose, he’s focused on mobilising support, amplifying impact and ensuring every pledge leads to real change.
